Shmuel Godlevsky z"l

The volunteer Rabbi Shmuel Godlevsky z"l , 5725-2022, the late Rabbi Shmuel was a dear and beloved man, who in recent years has been more absent from activities in the ranks of the organization, due to his health condition, but his spirit was with us until his last day, and we saw him as a friend and partner in the work, and his departure was very, very painful for all the members of the group. The late Shmuel was a quiet and humble man, straight through and gentle-minded, whom for years we were privileged to work with and get to know. He always turned to what he could help and help with, even when it was difficult for him to go to events in the field, came to the base of activity that was close to his home in Bnei Brak and was a partner in the action. We have always seen that giving and helping others is a guiding light and important to him as part of his agenda. Days passed, we learned a lot from him and we took with us as a side of the road from those days when he was active in the ranks of legions of true chesed volunteers, in the quiet and calm that characterized his special personality. A conversationalist, practical and understanding, extremely dedicated and loyal, he lived the organization as part of it and was caring and a true partner along the way. Veterans of the organization remember the late Shmuel, who was one of the first to the flag, who joined the founding board and from the beginning joined the important mission of "Chesed Shel Emet" and led after him legions of young people to the holy mission. His memory will not be used by us as an example and role model for a volunteer at Ramach Avrio who did not seek honor and reward, and his feet in the belief in the mission that there is no one else to do it in his place. May his memory be blessed!
