Benefits / advantages while in service (by law):
- Professional training.
- Sustenance fees of NIS 3,848 for married servants with at least one child and NIS 3,214 for married servants.
- 22 days’ leave.
- Exemption from city tax (Arnona).
- Eligibility for free medical treatment at Terem clinic, upon presentation of a Civil National Service servant.
- Free public transit travel nationwide (except Eilat).
- Free dental care (except complex treatments provided at a nominal fee).
- Discharge grant in the amount of NIS 9,000 and deposit of NIS 13,440.
- Exemption from National Insurance contributions.
- Assistance with day care.

Eligibility Conditions:
- Candidate recognized as a religious student, married or single, aged 21 or older.
- Ages 21-28.
- Good health.
- No criminal record.
- Not for Cohens.
- Two years’ driver’s license holders with no traffic violations record preferred.
