This service is performed by volunteers who will say the Kadish prayer and study Mishna for lonely deceased persons or other persons for whom nobody is available to say the Kadish prayer. This service is offered at no cost as part of taking care of the soul of the deceased by ZAKA volunteers.
This idea came up from the field, when handling deaths where there was a need to care for lonely deceased persons in saying the Kadish prayer as well as for those where nobody is available to say the prayer for them.
